Daily Snorkeling Tour from Eceabat Hotel
The tour departs at 09:00 AM. Please bring your swimming costume, beach towel, flip-flops, sun cream, and your own snorkeling gear if you have it. If you have not, fins, a mask, and a snorkel will be provided.
We’ll begin with a short drive to the ANZAC Commemorative Site at North Beach, where your underwater adventure begins.
You will snorkel around the Milo, a WWI steamer that was deliberately sunk in 1915 to form a breakwater for Allied troops. The wreck lies approximately 75 meters from the shore, at a depth ranging between 3 to 6 meters. A moderate level of swimming ability is required to reach the site.
The tour returns to the hotel around 11:30 AM, giving you plenty of time to shower and prepare for the Gallipoli Tour if you are continuing your day with us.
Guests staying at Hotel Crowded House can enjoy late check-out when joining the morning snorkeling tour.
In addition to exploring a real World War I shipwreck, you may also spot fish, lobsters, and other marine life.
Looking back toward the land from the sea, you'll experience the same breathtaking view that the first ANZAC soldiers saw in 1915.
