Daily Snorkeling Tour from  Eceabat Hotel

The tour departs at 09:00. Please bring your swimming costume, beach towel, flip-flops, sun cream and snorkelling equipment, if you have it. Otherwise, we will provide fins, a mask and a snorkel. We will then drive to the ANZAC Commemorative Site at North Beach. The ship that we will snorkel around is called the 'Milo'. It was a steamer sunk in 1915 to form a breakwater. The Milo is around 75 metres from the shore and has a depth of between 3 and 6 metres. You will need to be fit enough to swim that distance to join the tour. The tour returns to the hotel at around 11:30, giving you enough time to shower before going on the Gallipoli tour. If you are staying at the Crowded House Hotel, you can check out late when you join the snorkelling tour. You will see a WWI shipwreck, and you may even spot some fish or lobsters inside it. When you look at the land from the sea, you can see the same scene as the first diggers did.
